Great Holiday Activities On Oahu Hawaii and Beyond

If you're planning a vacation to Oahu, we recommend that you use a little time on the other islands such as Maui, Kauai and Big Island (Hawaii). Sure there are lots of fun things to do in Honululu but the real Hawaii is out there above the concrete and neon lights.

Hawaii island of Oahu is the third largest of the island chain, which is Hawaii. Although it is actually the most densely populated of all the islands. Nearly 75 percent of the state 1.2 million inhabitants live on Oahu, which is home to the town Honolulu and the world-famous Waikiki Beach.

For example, a Maui-day trip will include a trip to the top of the 10,000 feet summit of Haleakala, Iao Valley State Park, some time for shopping in Lahaina Town. You can organize to get a tour ride from your Waikiki hotel, including airfare and tour. Time can be devoted to a no-host lunch and tours tend to operate on a Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday only.

If you want a trip to the Big Island, including A hotel pick-up in Waikiki, which includes round-trip flight to Kona, and a circle island tour in an air conditioned minibus, as this can be arranged as well. The tour includes stops at "City of Refuge", with the Punaluu black sand beach, Rainbow Falls and Volcanoes National Park. The tour includes a wide range of climate on the Big Island, and you also get a sense of its size and historical significance. Although the tour includes volcanoes you probably do not see active "red hot lava."

Another great thing to do is take a helicopter ride that combines the stunning ocean vistas, lush emerald valleys, waterfalls, and overlooking the historic city of Honolulu and Pearl Harbor. If you afford to upgrade, it is very worthwhile to get a helicopter ride that offers first-class, (chair) upgrades. With sweeping expanse unrolling equal before, the front seat offers an experience that makes helicopter flight one to remember forever. My wife and I took one in the Colorado Rockies on our honeymoon, and there is no other experience quite like it.

Whale watching is another fantastic day tour activity that can provide some spectacular scenery. If you want to get a a little more up close to the oceans many people, you can organize a "swim with dolphins" excursion. These tours are on the western side of Oahu and is generally still, calm waters where the spinner dolphins gather in large pods. The trips include all snorkeling equipment and offer a side of Hawaii to be encountered, as the underwater world is a world it all himself.

Well there are literally dozens of things to do in Hawaii that I have not mentioned, as dinner cruises, evening shows, Sea Life Park and all these things can be accessed using a rental car and a spirit of adventure.
